Privacy Policy for Falling Man

Effective date: 2026-07-21

Falling Man (also presented in stores as Falling Man - Dodge & Drop) is a casual endless-fall game. You steer a character while falling, dodge hazards, land on platforms, collect floating food, pause and resume, and optionally continue a run or purchase consumable revive tokens (continues). Scores can be submitted to a public leaderboard when you sign in with Game Center. This Privacy Policy applies to the Falling Man mobile application wherever it is distributed and explains what information the app may process when you use it, how that information is used, and the choices you have.

Falling Man does not require an account to play and does not ask for your name, phone number, or precise location. Best score, revive tokens, control preferences, and similar settings are stored in private app storage on your device. When available, unused revive tokens may also sync through Apple iCloud Key-value storage, and scores may sync through Game Center. We do not operate a game backend that receives your play sessions. Optional advertising and in-app purchases are handled by the platform store and advertising partners described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Gameplay data stored on your device

Falling Man stores on your device information needed for the game to work offline, including your best score, remaining revive tokens (as a purchase ledger), preferred control mode (tilt, drag, or buttons), sound preference, and related settings. This data lives in the app's private storage (including UserDefaults and, where available, the device Keychain). Best score may also sync through Game Center when you are signed in. Unused revive tokens may sync via Apple iCloud Key-value storage when iCloud is enabled for your Apple ID, so a reinstall on a device signed into the same account can restore unused purchases. Control preferences and other local settings are generally removed when you uninstall the app. We do not operate a separate game backend that receives your play sessions.

1.2 Motion sensors

If you enable tilt controls, Falling Man uses the device motion sensors to steer the character. Motion readings are processed on your device for gameplay only and are not uploaded to a server we operate. You can switch to drag or on-screen button controls at any time; the game works without tilt.

1.3 Game Center / leaderboards

If you open the leaderboard or submit a score, Falling Man may ask you to sign in to Game Center. Authentication and leaderboard storage are performed by Apple. Falling Man sends only the score for the current run (and related Game Center requests) through Apple's Game Center services. We do not receive your Apple ID password or a copy of your full Game Center profile. You can decline Game Center sign-in; the rest of the game remains playable.

If a leaderboard feature is offered on your platform build, scores are submitted through that platform's game services under that platform's terms. Falling Man does not operate its own leaderboard server.

On iOS, leaderboards use Apple Game Center as described for iOS users. Falling Man does not operate its own leaderboard server. Authentication and score storage are performed by the platform game service under that service's terms.

1.4 Advertising data

Falling Man displays advertisements through Google AdMob (including interstitial and rewarded formats) to support a free-to-play experience. Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as your Identifier for Advertisers, device information (model, operating system, language), coarse location derived from IP address, and interaction data (ad views, clicks). Falling Man shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt before any cross-app tracking identifier is requested, and presents the Google User Messaging Platform consent form before ads are requested where regional regulations require it. This processing is performed by Google according to Google's own advertising and privacy policies. You can limit or reset your advertising identifier from your device's system settings (see section 4).

If Falling Man is distributed on Android, advertisements may be shown through Google AdMob. Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as your Advertising ID, device information, coarse location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data. Where required, the Google User Messaging Platform consent form is shown before ads are requested. Processing is performed by Google under its own policies.

Falling Man may display advertisements through Google AdMob (including interstitial and rewarded formats). Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process advertising identifiers (Apple's Identifier for Advertisers on iOS, or the Advertising ID on Android), device information, coarse location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data. On iOS, Falling Man shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt before AdMob may access the Identifier for Advertisers, and presents the Google User Messaging Platform consent form where regional regulations require it.

1.5 In-app purchases

Falling Man offers optional consumable in-app purchases (revive tokens). Transactions are processed by the Apple App Store. Falling Man does not receive your payment method, billing address, or other personally identifying payment details from Apple. It only receives purchase and product identifiers needed to grant tokens locally on your device.

If Falling Man is distributed on Android with in-app purchases, transactions are processed by Google Play. Falling Man does not receive your payment method or billing address; it only receives purchase and product identifiers needed to grant entitlements locally.

Optional consumable in-app purchases (revive tokens) are processed by the platform store (Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android if offered). Falling Man does not receive your payment method or billing address; it only receives purchase and product identifiers needed to grant tokens locally on your device.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Depending on the features you use, information may be processed by:

6. Data Retention

Local gameplay settings remain on your device until you clear them inside the app (where available), reset the app, or uninstall the app. Unused revive-token ledger data may also remain in Apple iCloud Key-value storage associated with your Apple ID until you clear iCloud data for the app or it is overwritten by later sync. Best scores submitted to Game Center remain under Apple's Game Center retention rules. Data processed by Google AdMob, the Google User Messaging Platform, or the platform store is retained according to those services' own retention policies.

7. Your Choices and Controls

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to reduce privacy and security risks. Local scores and settings live in the app's private sandbox on your device. Network calls made by the app (advertising, advertising consent, Game Center, and store purchases) use the operating system's encrypted transports. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.

9. Children's Privacy

Falling Man is a general-audience casual game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International Users

Falling Man may be available globally. Depending on the features you use (for example AdMob or the Google User Messaging Platform), information may be processed by service providers in locations outside your country or region, subject to those providers' policies and safeguards.

11. Permissions

Falling Man only uses the permissions and identifiers needed for its declared features:

Falling Man does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, calendar, health platforms, SMS, or call history.

12. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD and similar regulations) to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or port data relating to you. Because Falling Man stores most gameplay data locally on your device, you can exercise many of these rights by adjusting settings or uninstalling the app. For requests that cannot be resolved this way, please contact us using the details below. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app, legal requirements, or third-party service providers. The latest version will be published with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
